Last night, journalism breathed its last breath at CNN and BuzzFeed as they decided to release a story based on unsubstantiated and unverified sources. Both “news” organizations had months to verify and substantiate their sources for this story.
CNN and BuzzFeed decided to release a story based on unsubstantiated and unverified sources about Russia having a compromising dossier on Trump. These “news” organizations have had months to verify and substantiate the story, which they didn’t do.
In Fact, now reports are surfacing that the whole story may have been a fake news story started on the internet imaging board, 4Chan. If this is the case, that means the US intelligence got trolled by a user on 4Chan! The same intelligence that said that Russia was involved in the hacking of the DNC and Hillary’s email server.

Anytime you have very liberal journalist like Mother Jones’ David Corn criticizing the motivation of a “news” organization, you know something is fishy about it.
The timing of this story is also in question. It’s no accident that this story was reported the night before the much anticipated President-elect Donald Trump’s news conference.
There was some hope that the media would learn their lesson from their overwhelming bias reporting throughout the primaries and election but that hope went up in flames last night.
How anyone can continue to watch CNN is beyond me. It’s not even as if this is the first time that CNN has been involved in a media scandal. Remember the story about Hillary getting the questions to the debate from Donna Brazil?
How about CNN working with the DNC to come up with questions to ask Donald Trump and Ted Cruz? Last night’s antics by CNN was the final nail in the coffin for them. They can no longer be called a news organization.
They allowed their dislike of President-elect Donald Trump to overtake their journalistic integrity; they have gone over to the dark side of the force. They can no longer be called a news organization; they have officially become a news commentary organization.
As President-elect Donald Trump said to a CNN reporter at his press conference:
No, you cant ask a question, You’re fake news.
Love him or hate him, Donald Trump has shown America that when it comes to the media, The emperor or CNN in this case, has no clothes.
